Throughout the last 2 years I've dove into some much needed deep soul healing working through addiction and I am so pleased to share this track with you in celebration of it.
Life can throw you curve balls but we have the conscious choice to make the necessary shifts which will lead us to our higher self. Never give up.
Love yourself deeply and graciously even when the days are dark and remember you can achieve your dreams just by living in true alignment.

This song is a representation of the struggle I’ve gone through with addiction and the realization I went through of how precious life really is.
My daughter played a huge role in my motivation to change. On September 26th, 2020, a night I will never forget, I almost lost my life and I realized that she could have been without a mother. I had to change. I had to become who I was always meant to be in my truest and highest form and that version of myself had to die.
My hope is that the listener will feel moved to take a look at their own life to see what might need attention in order to be living their best life.
Castanet sat down with Kelowna artist Kristal Jem to talk about the release of her debut EP, “Echoes of Eternity.” With a background in musical theatre and classical vocal training, Kristal has developed a sound that blends soulful R&B, hip-hop beats, and operatic vocals.
The EP stands out for being sung entirely in Sanskrit, using mantra-inspired lyrics to create a meditative and uplifting listening experience. Through this project, Kristal hopes to offer audiences a moment of reflection and connection during challenging times.
